COVID-19 Client Update

Myriad Clients,

We hope you are all staying healthy and safe during this challenging time. We have been working diligently to provide the best service possible to all of our clients as we respect the orders coming from the Chief Medical Health Officer. We take our client’s, and our employees health very seriously, and while Information Technology Services are a very essential service, we want you to know that we are following the advice and precautions of the medical health professionals to ensure everyone’s safety. We also want to remind all of our clients how important it is for them to maintain their networks, even if they are switching to remote working as many of you are. In many respects your IT infrastructure is now more critical than ever. Myriad has also been tracking a very disturbing trend where malicious attackers are taking advantage of the COVID-19 situation to attempt to exploit and attack networks. We are recommending all of our clients contact us to ensure we have access to continue maintaining your network remotely or onsite, so we can ensure updates, backups, and regular preventative maintenance is being completed, as well as monitor network logs to keep intruders out, and networks in top shape. To that end, we are also notifying clients that we will be taking our remote backup system offline this evening for preventative maintenance AFTER we ensure your real-time daily backups are completed, to ensure the system is updated with the latest malware signatures and protection.

We understand this is an unprecedented time, and we understand many of our clients qualify as essential services and will need to keep operations running throughout this situation. We are confident in our ability to continue to provide services and supports to all of our clients, our team is well equipped, and we will continue to provide regular updates and reminders to our clients as the situation evolves.
